Who is this tool for?
People already doing EMDR with a trained therapist, for practicing bilateral stimulation between sessions the way their therapist suggests — general grounding and settling, not processing a new memory alone. It's the moving target, not the therapy.
What is the access code, and how do I get one?
Clinicians, coaches, and counsellors already using EMDR with clients — or clients with their own therapist's guidance — can request access via the form on this page. Access unlocks immediately on attestation; credentials aren't manually verified, but requests are logged and access can be revoked if misused.
Can I use this to process a specific traumatic memory on my own?
No. This is a self-guided attentional exercise, not EMDR therapy — full EMDR is clinician-delivered, and processing a memory alone without a trained therapist guiding you isn't what this tool is built for.
What should I do if distress rises while using this?
What can I explore without an access code?
Every setting is open to explore in preview mode — running the actual bilateral animation is what requires practitioner access.
Where does my information go — this device, or somewhere else?
Two different things happen here. The access-request form (your name, role, email, and message — plus an optional registration body, never a licence number, which we don't collect) is sent to our request-issuing service to generate an access code — that's the one exception to "nothing leaves this device" on this page. If that submission fails to go through, a local backup is kept only until it succeeds, then deleted immediately. Everything else — your session settings, whether the safety note is dismissed, your unlock state — stays in this browser only and is never transmitted.
