Journal

A prompt to write toward, not a test to pass. Pick a theme, or take today's prompt, and let whatever's there come out. There are no bad emotions here — only ones that haven't finished moving yet.

Today

How's the feeling right now? (optional)
Tip: you may prefer to write this by hand — the timer and prompt still help.

Questions people ask

Where do my entries live, and what happens if I clear my cache?
Entries live in this browser only — nothing is ever sent anywhere. Clearing your browser's cache or site data deletes them for good, so use "Copy all" first if you want to keep what you've written somewhere else. Deleting a single entry with its "delete" link is permanent the same way — there's no undo and no backup kept anywhere but here.
Do I have to answer the prompt exactly as written?
No — it's a prompt to write toward, not a test to pass. Ignore it entirely if something else wants to come out; "I don't know what to write" is a perfectly good first line.
What's the feeling chip for?
An optional tag for how you're feeling right now, saved alongside the entry so past entries show at a glance what was going on. Skip it if you'd rather not label it.
Can I write by hand instead?
Yes — the timer and prompt still help even if you're not typing here. Use this page to pick a prompt and set the mood, then write on paper if that's what works better for you.
Can I get my entries out in a format I can save elsewhere?
"Copy all" copies every saved entry to your clipboard at once, ready to paste into a note, document, or wherever you keep things long-term.
